Berlin - night 1

i met up with my friend Kassie from A&M and we actually went to a vietnamese restaurant in Berlin named Monsieur Vuong. probably some of the best vietnamese food i have ever had! we then walked the streets, with Berliner Kindl brew in hand, for the next few hours and just people watched, observed the Berlin graffiti..and maybe created some of our own...or did we? Kassie is actually about to move back to houston after being a paris tour guide for the past 9 months or so but is visiting berlin at the moment, so it was nice to see a familiar face. after a few drinks (even more than we intended as kassie mistakenly ordered me 4 beers instead of one at a bar because of some mis-communication with the bartender) we ended up back at my hostel (The Wombats, cool name, great hostel) and went to the WomBar where it was karaoke night. since we had been drinking, we ended up singing since no one else was and we actually both won top singers of the nights. Prize? Free shots at the bar! Not too shabby…
